Kevin Makins is the founding pastor of Eucharist Church in downtown Hamilton, Ontario. A frequent speaker at conferences and churches, Kevin has also toured one-man shows and stand up specials, including “Holy Shift” which can be streamed on his YouTube channel. His first book, “Why Would Anyone Go to Church?” is a celebration of congregational life in all its brilliant mediocrity. His audience includes the faithful and the skeptical, those hungry to learn, and those who just want to hear a good story. These days he mostly walks the same few kilometres, giving attention to his neighbourhood, family, and soul.
