We’re always looking for unique art and photography that will connect with our readers.
Founded in 1945, Christian Courier is an independent Canadian publication with Reformed roots. Our stories seek to inspire action, build community and influence culture for Christ. CC prioritizes publishing photography and art by Canadians and creators living in Canada. As an independently funded publication, we face financial constraints. However, we remain committed to paying our contributors an honorarium and we give creators as much visibility as possible when we publish their work.
Call for Photographers
We are developing a list of Canadian photographers who we can call on for submissions to our special theme issues in the future (five or six times per year). Would you like to join our photographer mailing list? Send a message to our Photo Editor, Malik. You’ll receive a message about a month before each theme issue inviting your contributions. Each piece that we publish will be eligible for an honorarium.

Please note:
- Original photography and art includes any work of art or photo created by the contributor who supplies a hi-resolution digital image of this work to CC for the purpose of publishing this image. The artist or photographer provides copyright for this purpose only. This can include photographs, illustrations, infographics, cartoons, paintings, etc.
- If artificial intelligence was used at any point in the creative process, creators are expected to disclose the usage.
- We encourage payment by direct deposit. Authors can expect payment by the end of the month in which their work is published.
CC doesn’t pay for the following submissions:
- Photos taken by authors to illustrate their stories, bio photos, etc.
- Reprints of images already published (or accepted for publication) in other publications.
- Articles supplied by authors who report on their own organizations (i.e. employees, consultants or contract workers associated with the organization)
- Photos or art work supplied by creators who work for an organizations with the purpose of promoting that organization.
