If I told you about everything my family has built, it'd take all day. There are potato barns and wooden toys and front yards turned into food forests. My sister is renovating a bus into her next home and my brother built a sauna from discarded windows.

What about you? What are you building?

Of course, not everything turns out. Years ago, my friend asked me to be her bridesmaid . . . and to sew my own dress. It was a navy blue comedy of errors lined in lace, and we still laugh about it.
