Who we are:
Christian Courier is an independent Christian newspaper that serves as a vital forum for Christians of all ages who want to engage our culture. It’s a must-read for anyone who wants to stay in touch with the activities of fellow Christians across the globe, and with current reformed thinking here on our own continent.

A bit of history:
Christian Courier started as a stenciled paper in Edmonton in 1945, although under the name Canadian Calvinist. In 1951, it merged with an Ontario paper called Contact and ended up being called Calvinist Contact for some 40 years The name was changed to Christian Courier in 1992, still retaining the familiar short form CC. Christian Courier is an independent bimonthly published by Reformed Faith Witness. It seeks to report on significant events in the Christian community and the rest of the world, expressing opinions infused by Scripture and rooted in the perspective that Christ came to redeem all of creation.

What we do:
We cover the news that you won’t get in the mainstream media — such as the pro-life movement; we feature the insight of Christian thinkers both in academia and without; and we highlight the daily struggles and joys of living faithfully for God today.

Why you should read CC:

  • CC’s editors carry on the Reformed vision in what they choose to print: topics ranging from politics to culture to home life, which represents our engagement with every part of God’s kingdom.

  • CC can be a filter for the nearly-overwhelming amount of online news, which often does not come with careful sources or through a meaningful selection process.

  • CC connects you with a community of believers.

What our subscribers say
Our readership includes Christians from all denominations — people who are trying to make a difference in the world.

When CC arrives in the mailbox I sit down immediately and read it from front to back. I am impressed.                                               John Nieboer, Victoria, British Columbia
I'm delighted to see CC continuing under new editors, with more emphasis on a younger readership and younger contributors.

The scope and depth [of CC] are excellent; you are a voice in the wilderness and I appreciate your efforts very much.  Keep up the
excellent work.
